Tennessee Williams Plein Air Event

To celebrate the 114th birthday of writer and artist Tennessee Williams, the Key West Historical Society and the Tennessee Williams Museum held a plein air paint out. My subject of choice was to paint the home he used in the movie “The Rose Tattoo” starring Burt Lancaster in his first movie role. I not only painted the house, but I added artist Tennessee sitting at his easel painting two roosters, as well as his bulldog Bruno, and my airedale Tucker. The painting was awarded Second Place! Thank you to the judge and the directors of the two museums for this award, and this wonderful event!
